Engineering Technician I - Reliability & Design Labs

Our Innovation Center Test Lab team is integral to the success of helping to support all of our new product development projects. This position will work cross functionally to support Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove development and testing requests.

Primary Responsibilities
Conducting tests to support Business Unit and New Product Development teams. This includes test setup, inspections, test report creation, and utilizing Agile to update test progress and save results.
Set-up analog and digital data acquisition, perform development tests per procedures and engineering direction
Regularly communicate test status and issues that arise.
Assist engineers in troubleshooting/analyzing improperly working units/components and recommend changes to the system that would achieve desired results
Assist in design, building, and ordering of test equipment to support project needs.
Perform maintenance on test equipment following preventative maintenance plans.
Provide calibration support for test equipment on a recurring basis.
Utilize 6S principles and perform lab audits to ensure lab spaces remain clean and organized.
Completing all necessary safety training and conduct STOP audits to ensure a safe work environment.

Education
Associates or better in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Associates or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience
Interpersonal, communication and leadership
Experience with LabVIEW and Solidworks
Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
