Social Services Assistant
As a Social Services Assistant, you will assist the Social Service Coordinator and Social Workers in delivering medically related social services to support residents in achieving and maintaining optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being. You will also promote a climate, policies, and routines that enable residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity.
Qualifications
Fire and passion for working with seniors.
Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
Social Service Certificate or 36‑Hour Social Service Designee Certificate preferred.
Minimum of one year of supervised social service experience in a health care setting working primarily with the geriatric population required.
Minimum of two years of prior experience in an LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
