Overnight Houseperson
As an Overnight Houseperson, you will ensure a great guest and colleague experience through overall cleanliness of public areas, timely delivery of guest room supplies, and guest support services.
Job Responsibilities
General cleaning of lobby, restrooms, offices, corridors, banquet areas, elevators, stairways, entranceways, pool facilities, exercise room, associate break areas, and outside areas.
Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage.
Provide safe transportation to guests using hotel shuttle vehicle.
Valet cars.
Assist in the delivery and set-up of cots, cribs and other guest related supplies.
Deliver guest room items such as packages, valet laundry, and other items.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
Check fixtures, equipment, and facility conditions (lights, toilets, water temperature, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation and report deficiencies.
Maintain housekeeping storage closets in proper supply level, organization, and cleanliness.
Place hotel amenities and supplies appropriately throughout the hotel (pool towels, vases, paper supplies, note pads, pens).
Perform special deep cleaning tasks and laundry as assigned.
Move furniture, hang and remove drapes, and roll carpets as needed.
Assist with snow removal including brushing cars, shoveling, and salting walkways as necessary.
Replace light bulbs as needed.
Qualifications
1 to 3 months related experience or training in housekeeping.
Valid New York State Class E Driver’s License with no major violations.
Solid organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills.
