Day Shift Days Off: Saturday/Sunday. Work Area: Dietary.
St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness. We are looking for a positive and energetic individual who has an interest in helping those with mental illness maximize their potential.
Responsibilities
Direct supervision of the Stores/Warehouse Assistant in the Dietetic Services department
Ordering of foodstuffs and supplies from designated prime vendors per established state-wide menu
Verifying orders from vendors against provided invoices and reporting discrepancies for credit
Labeling all food stuffs and discarding them as needed per provided guidelines
Supporting Stores/Warehouse Assistant with stocking foodstuffs and supplies
Completing quality assurance metrics weekly
Supporting Stores/Warehouse Assistant with pulling and weighing ingredients needed for recipes
Collaborating with the Administrative Manager to rotate out emergency food supply and create special menus for the holidays
Eligibility
At least 2-4 years of related food service experience
At least 4 years of supervisory/leadership experience
ServSafe Certification or ability to receive ServSafe Certification within three months of hire
Lift up to 35 lbs.
No disciplinary action in last 12 months [current State of Missouri applicants]
Have or are willing to receive Hepatitis A vaccination
Essential Skills And Knowledge
Strong oral and written communication
Intermediate computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration, and think clearly despite interruptions
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate within the department
