JOB BRIEF:
This is a part-time Business Operations position that supports the Controller and CFO of Artis Construction.
Compensation
Part-time, Hourly Position (based on demonstrable skills)

Qualifications
1-3 years of general accounting experience
Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Proficient with basic functionality of Microsoft Excel and Word
Good communicator – personable, organized and detail oriented
Technically adept with the ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems
Associate’s Degree or Higher preferred
Daily Responsibilities
Maintain Accounts Payable
Monitor accounting email and process invoices/receipts
Monitor various online credit accounts and process invoices/receipts
Monitor Credit Card and Bank accounts and enter operating expenses into QuickBooks
Assist with compiling weekly AP and AR reports
Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Reconcile monthly credit card and bank account statements
Assist with collecting or updating necessary tax and insurance documents for subcontractors
Assist Project Managers in the creation of subcontractor contracts
Push and process weekly time entries from Buildertrend to QuickBooks
Assist with Payroll processing as needed
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other ad-hoc reporting and analysis for Management
Provide support and backup for Controller when needed

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
This position involves being at a desk and extended use of a computer and typing are required.
Time Commitment
TIME COMMITMENT:
This position is a remote/hybrid part-time (20-25 hours per week) position. Employee must be able to communicate clearly effectively about schedules and deadlines. There will be in-person training for a few weeks and occasional in-person meetings at the North Charleston office. Although it is a mostly remote position, we are seeking someone based in Charleston, SC or the surrounding area.
