About The Role
The Assistant Control Room Operator leads and directs employees, under general supervision, and stands watch and operates the facility and must possess a Massachusetts Third Class Engineers License* pursuant chapter 146 of the M.G.L.
The Assistant Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis in the field. This position will respond to alarms as directed by Control Room Operator and taking appropriate corrective actions. They will aid in executing plant shutdown and start-up procedures. They will aid in the plant meeting generating requirements while operating in a safe, environmentally efficient, and productive manner. The ACRO will write permits, and test confined spaces.
Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
Responsibilities
Monitor the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis in the field.
Respond to alarms as directed by the Control Room Operator and take appropriate corrective actions.
Aid in executing plant shutdown and start-up procedures.
Aid in meeting generating requirements while operating safely, environmentally efficiently, and productively.
Write permits and test confined spaces.
Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Massachusetts Third Class Engineers License* pursuant to chapter 146 of the M.G.L.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical training preferred
In addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits (medical, prescription drug, vision, dental, 401(k), paid parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays).

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $76,000.00 - $101,100.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
