Senior Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for air conditioning, appliances, drywall, electrical, climate control systems, painting, plumbing, and pressure washing.

Essential Job Functions

Repair, replace or install:

Faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets related items

Power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, climate control systems and drywall

Major household appliances, such as refrigerators, range ovens, hot water tanks, and air conditioners

Painting and carpentry as needed

Maintaining a tidy appearance in the leasing office and common areas

Manage all maintenance request in a timely manner.

Monitor and maintain office equipment; inventory supplies and order replacement supplies, as needed

Unit turnover

Other related duties as assigned

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

Five (5) years maintenance experience, in an apartment building, condo, or High-rise preferred

Journeyman experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications

Environmental Protection Agency certification preferred

Abilities Required

Good customer service skills

Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance

Ability to use power tools

Ability to stand for long periods of time without assistance

Ability to crawl into small or tight spaces and climb a ladder

Ability to work effectively and efficiently

Ability to work independently or with others

Environment Work Conditions

Outside environmental conditions - Fumes, dusts, mists, or gases may affect the respiratory system or the skin

Intermittent noise to cause marked distraction or difficulty hearing other sounds

Infectious Material Exposure

No routine or potential exposure to blood/body fluids/tissues
