OVERNIGHT MOBILE AUTOMOTIVE MECHANIC
We’re looking for an experienced Mobile Automotive Mechanic to join our overnight fleet service team. In this role, you’ll work independently across multiple locations, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles. This position is ideal for technicians who value autonomy, consistent hourly pay (non flat rate), and working with modern tools in a growing, tech‑enabled service model.
Benefits

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across fleet vehicles
Perform preventative maintenance (oil, brakes, tires, fluids, etc.)
Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding repairs and timelines
Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
Verify repairs through testing and quality checks
Qualifications
5+ years of professional automotive repair experience (fleet experience preferred)
Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
Experience with tools/software such as ProDemand or similar
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must provide basic tools

ASE certifications
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
Must be able to lift and move work‑related items up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods
Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist the body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head, neck, and shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day
Working Conditions
This position involves occasional exposure to hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt, and exhaust fumes.
