Position Information: Athletic Communications - Game Day Support. Part Time, Casual Wage. Division: Athletics; Department: Athletic Communications. Hiring wage: $20.00 / hour. This posting is for part-time staff who work games throughout the year, with 150-200 home events annually and a variety of gameday roles (broadcasters, camera operators, stats inputters, stats callers, livestream producers, etc.). Positions are filled on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

For the fall semester, openings for play by play announcers for ESPN+ livestream broadcasts.

Assist Colgate Athletic Communications staff at assigned home varsity athletic events and with remote project work.

Write press releases, event recaps and other website content; live tweet events; create social and promotional graphics.

Assist with production for the ESPN+ livestream broadcast; deliver play by play or color commentary on the broadcast; keep statistics; operate a video camera; update rosters and bios on the website; organize photos.

Requirements

Professional Experience/Qualifications: Attention to detail is highly valued and required.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Other: This posting is for part-time staff; work schedules vary and positions are filled on an as-needed basis.
