
Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor supervises and supports direct reports and prepares and analyzes reports and reconciliations of bond CIP projects to support the cash flow management practices. Communicates status of project funding and expected future funding needs. Ensures compliance with bond related regulations and requirements.

Supervises staff related to Bonds/Fixed Assets/Special Projects
Prepares and analyzes monthly review of bond project activity
Prepares weekly cash flow review of bond projects
Prepares CIP schedules and communicates with project managers regarding funding and cash flow status
Prepares and analyzes bond project activity and reports
Records accounting transactions
Assists with special accounting projects, as necessary
Assists other departments with accounting data as needed
Identify training budget needs
Performance review alignment
Maintain familiarity with strategic District levels of service
Continuous improvement monitoring and innovation efforts
Perform other duties as required
Required Experience:
Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in accounting related field
Desired Experience:
Supervisory experience
Required Education/Certification/License:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
