
Senior Billing Analyst

Our client is a premier U.S law firm. They seek a Senior Billing Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
Coordinate billing portfolio for assigned billing attorney and client
Maintain billing system data, including matter, timekeeper, rate, and time entry
Interpret and process partner billing instruction within the system
Review time entry for coding accuracy, billing rate compliance, and missing time
Prepare client invoice, including narrative and detailed time/cost billing format in 3E
Ensure accuracy and quality of all billing analysis and supporting documentation
Manage client billing arrangement and ensure alignment with partner agreement
Generate and distribute the time and cost proforma and related report to the partner
Resolve rejected invoice, cash application issue, and client billing inquiry
Submit e-bill, monitor payment status, and escalate issues as needed
Requirements
Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of experience in legal billing
Ability to deal discreetly with confidential information
Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Working knowledge with legal billing software database structure
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Working knowledge of LEDES electronic files
