Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Assistant to support daily office operations. This is a full-time position with a 3-month trial period to evaluate performance and fit within the company. Training will be provided; however, candidates should have basic accounting knowledge and experience with QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
Record incoming products in Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, and other company systems
Upload and manage invoices
Answer phone calls and respond to emails
Schedule pick-ups and deliveries with carriers
Register trailers and maintain accurate records
Maintain communication with TXDMV via phone and email
Communicate with finance companies via phone and email
Receive payments and issue checks
Purchase office supplies and maintain inventory
Manage and maintain tax-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen
Fluent in Spanish and English
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Experience using QuickBooks
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Meticulous attention to detail
