
Compensation Analyst

The Compensation Analyst is a key member of the Total Rewards team at Creation Technologies, responsible for the day‑to‑day administration and execution of compensation programs. This individual contributor role supports the delivery of compensation processes including market pricing, salary structures, and annual compensation cycles.
This position is ideal for someone with hands‑on compensation experience who enjoys working with data, ensuring accuracy, and supporting leaders through compensation‑related activities. The role partners closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and managers to ensure compensation programs are administered effectively, consistently, and in compliance with company guidelines.
This hybrid role can be based in Boston, or Dallas, with an expectation of working on‑site 2–3 days per week. It’s an exciting opportunity to influence compensation strategy and partner with leaders across the business to attract and retain top talent.
Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Benchmarking
Conduct market pricing for roles using survey data and benchmarking tools
Participate in compensation surveys and analyze results to support pay decisions
Maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and job data within HR systems
Support job evaluation and leveling activities using established frameworks
Ensure job matches and market data are applied consistently and accurately
Compensation Administration
Administer core compensation programs including base pay, merit increases, promotions, and bonus plans
Support and execute annual compensation cycles (merit and bonus), including data preparation, system testing, and audits
Partner with HRIS to support configuration, testing, and execution within Workday Advanced Compensation
Review and validate compensation transactions to ensure accuracy and alignment with guidelines
Maintain and audit compensation data to ensure integrity across systems
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
Operational Support & Consultation
Respond to compensation‑related inquiries from HRBPs and managers
Provide data and analysis to support compensation decisions (offers, promotions, adjustments)
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for compensation planning and review
Support communication of compensation processes and timelines to stakeholders
Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy
Skills And Experience
3–5 years of hands‑on compensation experience, including administration of merit cycles and market pricing
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets and identify discrepancies
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation)
Experience working in an HRIS; Workday Advanced Compensation strongly preferred
Solid understanding of compensation fundamentals (pay structures, benchmarking, compliance basics)
High attention to detail and strong focus on data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain compensation information clearly
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
CCP or progress toward certification is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $90k–$100k USD annually. Full‑time employees are also eligible for performance‑based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
