is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team in Cleveland, OH.
Fives North American Combustion (HQ: Cleveland) is a dynamic subsidiary of the Fives Group (HQ: Paris). Boasting over 100 years of experience in industrial combustion, we design, manufacture, install, and service burners, industrial furnaces, and combustion systems across diverse industries.
Responsibilities
Operate power equipment such as saws and nail guns
Follow instructions and verify that the complete contents of an order are present before packing
Adhere to a strict schedule to ensure all customer orders are on time
Use independent judgment to prioritize packaging orders
Work in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment
Safely operate tow motors and other electric vehicles
Work independently and as part of a team
Use overhead cranes to lift, move, and manipulate larger parts
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Strict adherence to quality standards and ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous experience working in manufacturing or construction is preferred
Ability to read a tape measure
Attention to detail and accuracy
Fast learner with a willingness to learn new things
Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions
Experience using a tow motor is preferred
High school diploma or GED
