Job Overview
We are seeking a hands‑on and tech‑savvy Warehouse Systems Technician to support daily operations within a fast‑paced distribution center. This role combines operational support with technical troubleshooting, ensuring warehouse systems, equipment, and automation tools run efficiently with minimal downtime.
You will serve as the go‑to support resource for on‑site systems including WMS, industrial printers, handheld devices, and robotics, helping maintain uptime, resolve issues, and keep order flow moving seamlessly.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the warehouse floor while also handling system‑related challenges and technical problem‑solving.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot industrial printers and equipment
Monitor and support robotics and automation systems
Install, maintain, and repair warehouse machinery and tools
Respond to service requests and resolve operational issues quickly
Support order flow and system functionality within warehouse systems (WMS)
Create labels using ZPL coding
Manage parts and tote inventory
Submit and track support tickets as needed
Assist with preventative maintenance planning and execution
Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues
Qualifications
1+ year of experience with software, systems, or server support
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Comfortable working with warehouse equipment and technology
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills across teams
Preferred Skills
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Familiarity with CMMS or work order systems
Basic coding knowledge (ZPL or similar)
Experience working with robotics or automation systems
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working at heights (including scissor lifts)
Ability to use tools and perform hands‑on work
