TECHNICAL RECRUITER
RESPONSIBILITIES
Run a full desk with a variety of duties including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent candidates to fill mission critical positions.
Serve as the first encounter with SpaceX, representing the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm.
Collaborate with teams while maintaining a high degree of autonomy, showing initiative and taking responsibility for tasks.
Meet with client groups to discuss headcount, requisitions, hiring strategy, and interview feedback; act as a partner rather than an order taker.
Screen candidates applying to requisitions, source candidates, and recommend top candidates for interviews.
Give tours to candidates before onsite visits.
Attend interviews alongside client groups to evaluate candidates.
Initiate offer process with background checks, negotiate packages, and extend offer letters.
Daily routine changes with hiring priorities, but typical activities include managing candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of a degree.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
2+ years of technical recruiting experience.
2+ years of SGA recruiting experience.
Experience with in‑house recruiting.
Experience with high volume recruiting.
Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineers.
Experience recruiting skilled labor.
Strong track record of recruiting success.
Full life‑cycle recruiting experience from sourcing to closing.
Comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting on recruiting data.
Ability to differentiate top talent within fields.
Expertise in non‑standard recruiting methods.
Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers at director and VP levels.
Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Capable of presenting candidacy objectively without pressuring client decisions.
Strong multi‑tasking and initiative under minimal direction.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Available for extended hours and weekends as needed.
Must pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
This position requires onsite full‑time; hybrid or remote work will not be considered.
Must meet U.S. Government export regulation eligibility as a U.S. citizen or eligible foreign national.
