Position Summary
Cooperstown All Star Village is seeking energetic, self-motivated receivers. Receivers are responsible for efficiently managing all incoming deliveries and ensuring accurate distribution of products across all food and beverage outlets at Cooperstown All Star Village. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth daily operations by verifying incoming orders, organizing inventory, and supporting proper stock rotation throughout the campus.

The Receiver inspects and checks in all deliveries for accuracy and quality, documents received items, and communicates any discrepancies to management or vendors. This position maintains clean, organized storage areas, monitors inventory levels, and ensures products are delivered promptly to kitchens, concessions, or other outlets. The Receiver will also assist with stock rotation, labeling, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. The Receiver ensures that all outlets have the supplies and products they need to operate efficiently during the high‑volume summer tournament season.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect all food, beverage, and supply deliveries

Check in orders as they come in

Unload pallets and transport product safely to designated storage areas

Distribute inventory to various eateries and departments as needed

Ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO method)

Maintain organized coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas

Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages

Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times

Assist with stocking throughout the day as business demands

Operate pallet jacks, carts, and company vehicles when required

Support the team during peak service times

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to lift and move up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly

Strong work ethic and sense of urgency

Team player with excellent communication skills

Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Previous warehouse, receiving, or food service experience preferred
