Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in St. Petersburg, FL, for a Surgery Scheduler and Case Coordinator. In this role, you will coordinate and schedule surgeries, verify insurance information, and maintain effective communication with patients, physicians, and medical staff. Additional responsibilities include confirming appointment details, ensuring appropriate documentation is prepared, and utilizing medical office systems to streamline scheduling and case coordination processes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Surgery Scheduling and Insurance Verification processes
Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with Medical Office workflows
Excellent Phone Etiquette and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in medical office administration or related fields are a plus
Proficiency with scheduling software and electronic medical records systems is an advantage
