Constellation seeks a Finance Operations Specialist to support project budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls across our energy portfolio. This on‑site role plays a key part in maintaining accurate checkbooks, analyzing expenditures, and providing guidance to project managers.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Prepare and maintain project checkbooks with budgets, forecasts, and actual expenditures.
Process approved Project Change Requests (PCRs) to update budgets and support monthly financial debriefs.
Review and analyze checkbooks to identify missing or incomplete data and resolve discrepancies.
Perform ad‑hoc analysis and special projects such as focused area assessments, benchmarking, and procedure revisions.
Assist project managers in forecasting, risk and opportunity analysis, and in developing PCR and NSAC financial presentations.
Coordinate review of post‑implementation appraisals, trend results, and communicate findings annually.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience, OR
Associate’s degree and 7 years of related experience, OR
High school diploma/GED and 9 years of related experience.
Experience in financial budgeting, cost or project estimating in a related industry.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within 18 months of hire.
Minimum access requirements or unescorted access as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or PMP certification.
Expertise in PeopleSoft and Hyperion financial systems.
