Your impact
Jacobs is seeking a Construction Management Intern to join our Project Management/Construction Management team, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and be involved in a variety of construction management tasks for our clients. Jacobs' Program Management and Construction Management (PMCM) team ensures successful project delivery by offering comprehensive services such as program planning, design management, construction management, risk management, and facility commissioning. They also provide tailored specialty services like performance management, safety plan development, logistics planning, and stakeholder coordination to meet client‑specific needs.

This position demands a results‑driven, client‑focused professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong work ethic.

You’ll take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team. Your ability to manage your time and responsibilities effectively while maintaining a high standard work product will be instrumental in delivering successful project outcomes.

Potential Role Responsibilities

Reviewing RFIs and Submittals

Attending weekly project meetings and taking meeting minutes

Assist in the day‑to‑day management of construction projects

Participate in site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications

Attend and contribute to project meetings with team members and clients

Assist in reviewing and processing change orders and RFIs (Requests for Information)

Here’s what you’ll need

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management or related degree

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

Authorization to work in the United States

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

Knowledge on Bluebeam, Microsoft office, P6

Our salary range for this position is $42,000.00 to $62,000.00; however, the role will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
