Primary Responsibilities
Assist with daily operations in the Holmes County Extension office.
Provide point of contact and customer service for Holmes County Extension clientele via in-person, phone, or e-mail requests.
Support program event marketing by gathering information, preparing, and distributing materials including e-mails, announcements, newsletters, social media, and website updates.
Assist Extension Educators and program staff, perform front office duties, back up phones, provide technical assistance (editing and proof‑reading newsletters, reports, and correspondence), maintain files and records, and operate general office equipment.
Provide support for program staff for upcoming events such as meetings, clinics, or classes.
The position requires working 32 hours per week, typically within an 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. workday, Monday-Friday, with occasional hours outside these times for assistance at programs and events.
Minimum Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
Certification or vocational training (preferred).
1 year of relevant experience required.
2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Pay Range:
$15.86 - $20.74 per hour, based on internal equity, unit budget, and candidate qualifications.
