Schedule - Tuesday - Saturday, 5:00am-7:00am start - Until completion
Starting Pay: $26.86/hr
Responsibilities

Non CDL Driver I: delivery position driving a company vehicle with GVW of 14,900; deliver foodservice products with a high level of service.
Load and unload the vehicle for multi-stop deliveries; transport deliveries by driving assigned vehicles.
Move product using a hand truck; go up and down stairs with product as necessary.
Record delivery information including operating a hand scanner and required documentation; ensure proper documentation and disposition for any return product.
Communicate delivery issues to the proper authority (e.g., Customer Service, Territory Manager, Transportation Supervisor).
Deliver to designated stops following the stop sequence; unload product and stage in designated spaces; check invoices; process paperwork and damaged merchandise if any; collect payments if necessary.
Monitor refrigeration system on the delivery vehicle for safety and follow safe food handling procedures.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (fluid levels, tires, windshield washer, fuel) and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Training: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Age/License: Must be 21 years or older. Valid U.S. driver’s license with endorsements if required. No more than two convictions in the past two years for traffic violations; no DUI in the past three years; no license suspensions in the past three years. Must pass DOT physical.
Experience: No commercial or professional driving experience required. One year of multi-stop delivery experience preferred, or six months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.
Hand Cart Delivery Experience Preferred. Ability to read, write and communicate in English related to job and safety regulations. Basic math skills. Must pass pre-employment testing (including background check).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Building Customer Loyalty, Managing Work, Adaptability, Building Trust, Follow-up, Communication, Defensive Driving techniques.
Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally; work outdoors; ability to pass DOT physical; ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
