
Awake Overnight Direct Care Staff

Job Summary
REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position requires a driver’s license with at least one year of valid experience and a clean driving record. The role is part‑time (10 p.m.–8 a.m.) and includes weekend shifts as scheduled.
Key Responsibilities
Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
Support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
Help participants engage in community activities and follow their developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
Develop meaningful relationships with participants and demonstrate ownership and trust from leaders.
Take initiative to promote participants’ inclusion in the community.
Qualifications
High‑school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum six months of experience working with intellectual disability, behavioral health, or mental health populations (preferred).
Strong communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage: $17.
Pay on demand (for part‑time staff).
