We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. About the facilityThis opportunity is based at a 150-bed acute care hospital located in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania . The practice includes both clinic and hospital settings, supported by advanced practice providers and a collaborative cardiology team. The facility utilizes the Epic Systems EMR platform and provides access to procedural labs multiple days per week.

Job Responsibilities- Provide general cardiology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform and interpret diagnostic and interventional procedures including:
- Echocardiograms
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Stress tests
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardioversions
- Manage an average of adult patients per day
- Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday nights and rotating weekends
- Collaborate with APPs and other specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active or eligible for Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC accepted)
- DEA certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of cardiology experience preferred
- Required: Nuclear and Echocardiography board certification
- Preferred: Cardiac CT interpretation skills
- Full-time schedule
- Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
- 1 2 nights of call per week
- Rotating weekend call (1:4 1:5)
- Ongoing assignment with a minimum 6-month commitment preferred
- Strong clinical and diagnostic cardiology expertise
- Proficiency in cardiac imaging and procedural interpretation
- Ability to manage both acute and chronic cardiac conditions
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Epic Systems
