Position SummaryThe Internal Medicine Physician will serve as a core clinical provider delivering comprehensive, high-quality primary care to an adult patient population. This role is ideal for a physician who values autonomy, work-life balance, and the opportunity to build a sustainable patient panel within a value-driven outpatient setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care to adult patients
Conduct detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments
Order, review, and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and care plans
Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the EMR system
Collaborate with specialists, referring providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing and clinical support staff
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NYS Department of Health, CMS, and payer guidelines
Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement efforts
Build and manage a patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Active New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure
Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
Patient-centered, team-oriented approach to care
Comfort with EMR systems and value-based care models preferred
