Position
Make Ready Maintenance Technician – responsible for ensuring vacant apartment homes are restored to market‑ready status and maintaining a positive resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all vacant apartment homes are restored to market‑ready status.
Complete the full vacant turn process in a timely manner to meet move‑in deadlines (drywall repairs, painting, caulking, grouting).
Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows, carpentry, and ceramic tile installation.
Complete administrative paperwork as necessary.
Assist with snow and ice removal as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
Previous experience in building maintenance, including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC – preferred; willing to train.
HVAC certification or experience – preferred; willing to train.
Possess own tools.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with team dress code.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and co‑workers.
Basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs.
Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
