Job Details
Position: Physician Radiologist
Salary: $350,000 - $360,000 Table P001, Tier T02

Job Overview
This position will report to the Assistant Chief of Imaging Service.
Current staffing: 1 Chief, 1 Assistant Chief, 9 Staff Radiologist (7.0 FTE)
Practice Environment
Hospital-based practice.
Practice Environment Description: 78,213 RVU FY2024 & 12,724 RVU 1st FY2025
Non-Supervisory.
Call rotation serves as contingency for teleradiology service and covers weekends/holidays 8:00am-11:00am.
Highlights of this position include
Daily schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30pm.
Night and weekend call distributed on an equitable basis with other staff.
Additional requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.
Subspeciality fellowship desirable.
Academic affiliations with MAHEC, AB Tech and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Radiography and US technologist student, medical student, and internal medicine resident rotations.

Medical personnel have statutory immunity from “individual” malpractice liability while acting within the scope of employment; a VA physician cannot be sued in civil court for a malpractice (tort) claim.
