Overview
Material Purchaser / Project Coordinator — Chino (On-site)
WCC Technologies Group is a fast-growing technology contractor specializing in network infrastructure, structured cabling, and physical security systems (cameras, access control, etc.). We work with enterprise clients, school districts, and public agencies across California.
We’re scaling quickly and need someone who can take ownership of purchasing and project coordination to keep jobs running smoothly and on schedule.
Role Overview
This role sits at the center of operations—working between sales, vendors, and field teams. You’ll be responsible for ordering materials, tracking deliveries, and helping coordinate projects from kickoff through completion.
If you’re organized, proactive, and don’t need to be micromanaged, you’ll do well here.
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing / Procurement
Order materials for projects (cabling, fiber, cameras, access control, networking hardware)
Work with vendors and distributors to source pricing and availability
Track shipments and ensure materials arrive on time
Resolve backorders, shortages, and vendor issues
Project Coordination
Support project managers with scheduling and logistics
Coordinate with field technicians on material needs and timelines
Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Maintain accurate project documentation and updates
Operations Support
Assist with job costing and tracking material usage
Help standardize purchasing and inventory processes
Communicate with internal teams to keep everyone aligned
Qualifications
2+ years in purchasing, project coordination, or construction/low voltage industry
Experience with materials like cabling, fiber, security systems, or networking equipment is a big plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at once without dropping the ball
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company
Nice to Have
Experience with distributors (Anixter/Wesco, ADI, Graybar, etc.)
Familiarity with tools like Excel, CRM systems, or project management software
Understanding of construction or low voltage project workflows
Compensation
