Location / Division Specific Information
Carlsbad, CA. This position supports Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) manufacturing operations in a controlled laboratory and cleanroom environment. The team focuses on producing high-quality reagents and kits that enable advanced genomic research and diagnostics worldwide.
How Will You Make an Impact?
You will contribute directly to the production of NGS products by executing manufacturing processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Your work will support timely delivery of critical tools that empower customers to advance scientific discovery and improve patient outcomes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP/ISO guidelines accurately
Ability to operate, monitor, and perform basic troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment
Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced production environment
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and perform repetitive tasks requiring good manual dexterity. Must be able to safely lift and handle materials up to 40 lbs. Work is performed in a controlled laboratory and cleanroom environment requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to strict safety and quality standards.
Compensation
Hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California: $16.78-$21.55.
Variable annual bonus based on performance results in accordance with company policy.
Annual merit performance-based increase.
