Job Description
The job of
General Maintenance
is to provide maintenance and cleaning services as needed and/or assigned; assisting in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; assisting skilled trades; and ensuring that tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at job site when needed along with a little house keeping.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays (start times may vary 6am to 7am)
Essential Functions of General Maintenance
Clean and maintain interior and exterior of facility
Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
Move waste from facility to dumpsters
Abide by all the safety-training guidelines and operate within SOP stated in the Peddler’s Son Safety Manual
Complete daily logs
Keep and maintain inventory of materials and supplies
Non-essential Job Functions
Facility Sanitation will operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
All Employees support and uphold the HAZARD ANALYSIS CRITICAL CONTROL POINTS (HACCP)
Requirements
Must have High school diploma or GED ( must be able to read and do simple math)
Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license
Must be self-motivated, organized and have excellent communication skills
Must be able to walk considerable distances in the facility during the course of his or her work
Must be able to lift and raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during the shift
Must be able to Pull or Push exerting force up to a certain number of pounds on a regular basis so that the object is moved to or away from the employee
Must be able to carry on a regular basis, to carry objects in his or her arms or on the shoulder(s)
Must be able to grasp regularly picking up objects with fingers
Must be able to reach regularly; required to use the hands and arms to reach for objects
Stooping and Crouching required to bend forward by bending at the waist or by bending legs and spine
