We invite experienced Locum OB/GYN Physicians (MD/DO) to provide coverage amidst a supportive practice environment. This opportunity features a blended office and hospital setting, allowing you to maintain a well-rounded practice.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to a diverse patient population.
- Perform routine deliveries, C-sections, and handle various complications in labor and delivery.
- Conduct office-based gynecological procedures such as IUD placements, colposcopies, and minor surgeries.
- Maintain clear documentation and handle patient follow-ups using an advanced EMR system.
- Participate in a call schedule with an expected ratio of 1 in 4.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of midwives and clinical staff to ensure patient-centered care.
- Stay current with obstetric guidelines and best practices to promote high-quality outcomes.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Experience in both low-risk and high-risk obstetrics.
- Competence in a range of gynecological procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Current, active Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Current BLS/ACLS certification.
- A self-query NPDB report, obtained within the last 30 days.
- Must be local; only mileage will be reimbursed for travel.
