This role focuses on handling medical malpractice and general liability cases, providing skilled legal defense and support in civil litigation matters. The position requires a proactive attorney capable of managing legal projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in medical malpractice and general liability insurance defense cases
Manage civil litigation processes from inception through resolution
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Participate in depositions, negotiations, and trial preparations
Collaborate with clients, experts, and colleagues to build effective defense strategies
Oversee case management and ensure timely progression of all matters
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Required Qualifications
1-5 years of legal experience
Experience with medical malpractice and general liability insurance defense preferred
Civil litigation experience preferred
Legal project management experience preferred
Additional Information
Fully in-office role based in Westchester
