I have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Manager. The Manager leads the Computing Services' (CS) automation and orchestration transformation toward the delivery and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code. This role will focus on automating the provisioning and management of servers, storage, middleware, platforms, and networking across VMware, OpenShift, and physical environments, improving efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Major Job Responsibilities
Hires, develops, rewards, and retains a highly qualified and diverse leadership team.
Oversee the automation of provisioning and lifecycle management of VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, bare‑metal servers, and other computing infrastructure.
Budget management.
Continuously monitors and evaluates the operating model and supporting organizational design to identify efficiencies and synergies and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Oversee the development of scripts, workflows, and playbooks for storage provisioning, SAN/NAS automation, and backup integration.
Oversee the automation of network device configuration and monitoring using tools like Ansible, Python, or vendor APIs.
Oversee the implementation and management of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) for OS and middleware automation.
Acts as a student of the business and technology, anticipating future needs and directional shifts in both technology and energy industries.
Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships and partnerships with leadership throughout the enterprise, industry peers and groups, external vendors, and suppliers.
Develop, document, and maintain enterprise-wide standards for automation practices and tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand diverse automation needs and advocate for unified solutions.
Provide guidance and training to peers on effective branching strategies, versioning, and code review processes.
Participate in departmental initiatives.
Communicate progress, problems and best practices to management, leads, and teammates.

Permanent position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay And Benefits
Pay range: $160,000.00 - $168,000.00/yr.
