Job Overview
As a Product Technology Senior Associate, you’ll focus on evaluating software platforms through an integrated commercial, operational, and financial lens. The team provides investment‑grade insights that tie product architecture and roadmap credibility directly to valuation, growth, and margin sustainability. Provide analytical and technical support across product‑technology diligence engagements, focusing on architecture, engineering, and cost analysis.
This role requires the ability to tie commercial, operational, and financial performance of a software platform directly to its technology architecture and roadmap, and involves travel up to 50%.
Hybrid work model: require in‑person attendance at least three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct architecture reviews and documentation analysis.
Support code‑base and technical debt analysis.
Analyze cloud infrastructure configurations.
Evaluate roadmap feasibility.
Support hosting cost and R&D cost analysis.
Prepare diligence slides and summaries.
Support management Q&A tracking.
Qualifications
3–6 years in software engineering, cloud engineering, architecture analysis, or product development environments.
Experience in SaaS or platform businesses preferred.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Structured problem‑solving ability.
Attention to detail.
High learning agility.
Interest in private equity and transaction environments.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Benefits
Base salary range: $137,816 – $165,020. Placement within the range is at the firm’s discretion and is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, experience, market demand, geographic location, and internal equity.
Internal bonuses: employees may receive a discretionary, annual bonus based on individual and firm performance.
Interns and seasonal employees are not eligible for bonus compensation.
Interns are eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance, the employee assistance program, and paid sick leave, and are paid for firm holidays during their internship.
