Job Title
Full-time BC/BE Neuro‑Oncologist in Wilmington, NC
Position Overview
Join an established Neuroscience group at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, working with specialists in neurosurgery, headache, neuro‑immunology, neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, stroke, neuro‑psychology, neuro‑hospitalist, neuro‑intensivists, and neuro‑interventional surgery.
Responsibilities
- Care for neuro‑oncology patients with primary and metastatic CNS tumors; develop and lead a network‑wide neuro‑oncology program.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, neuropathologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists across the Novant Health network.
- Contribute to system‑wide initiatives: clinical pathways, treatment protocols, tumor board, and clinical trials.
- Educate medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers.
- Engage with a large referral base from throughout the Novant Health network.
Qualifications
- Philosophy of high value on patient experience.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in both Neurology and Neuro‑Oncology.
- Completion of Neurology residency and Neuro‑Oncology fellowship.
- Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice in North Carolina.
