Overview
Our historic boutique hotel offers a dynamic, 24‑hour environment where guests enjoy proximity to iconic New York City attractions. The Houseperson will maintain pristine public areas and guest‑facing spaces, responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Shift Pattern
Full availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Range
$29.90 – $39.87 per hour
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain designated areas, including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
Perform dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, waxing floors, and disposal of trash and ashtrays.
Greet guests warmly and provide courteous service.
Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
Stock and maintain supply rooms as needed.
Execute deep‑cleaning tasks and special projects (e.g., mattress flipping, furniture moves).
Assist in cleaning guest rooms when requested.
Qualifications & Values
Prior experience as a houseperson at a property of similar size.
