Miss J’s Cafe Team Member
Location: 6021 Porter Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304
Position Overview
We are hiring energetic and customer-focused Team Members for Miss J’s Cafe. In this role, you will prepare fresh food, deliver excellent customer service, maintain cleanliness, and help create a great experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure orders are prepared and delivered promptly.
Prepare menu items including sandwiches, salads, soups, and daily specials according to Miss J’s Café standards.
Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, ovens, blenders, toasters, etc.).
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including dining room, kitchen, and restrooms.
Handle cash and payments accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Assist with stocking, inventory, and receiving deliveries.
Work cooperatively with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
Previous customer service or food service experience is a plus, but not required—we will train motivated candidates.
Positive, friendly attitude with strong customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for cash handling.
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
