OB/GYN Call Only Somerset, KY (IMLC accepted) This Role 24-hour in-house OB/GYN hospitalist coverage Direct patient management with high-acuity obstetric cases Access to two ORs for c-sections and emergency procedures MediTech EMR Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Call Only Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts Patients per Day: 8 Call Details: In-house, response time 30 minutes, call ratio 1:6, 12 patients/day, 3 admissions/day, 8 phone consults/day EMR: MediTech Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active KY license (IMLC accepted) BLS and PALS Clean history Details Scope: Inpatient obstetrics and gynecology hospitalist coverage Typical Procedures: Low and high risk pregnancy management FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB ultrasounds (Level I & II) Amniocentesis Routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries C-section decision-making and performance Complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs) Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Surgical gynecology: open and laparoscopic minor procedures, operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
