We are looking for a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide exceptional anesthesia care at York Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a facility renowned for its diverse case mix and Level I Trauma designation. What You ll Do:
  • Model: Medically Directed 1:3 (max 1:4)
  • Provide anesthesia services for a variety of cases including trauma, neuro & spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, plastics, ortho, robotics, and more
  • Perform epidurals without doctor present; do not perform blocks
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and specialty clinicians
  • Cover full-time schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7p-7a shifts
  • Manage varying patient populations across all ages
  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation

Required Skills:
  • Valid PA RN license and board certification as a CRNA
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical anesthesia experience preferred
  • Proficiency in GETA, MAC, Regional, Spinal, and US techniques
  • ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with high-acuity or trauma cases
  • Additional certifications in advanced anesthesia techniques
  • Familiarity with hospital workflows and EMR systems

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia
  • Proven ability to manage complex case loads independently
  • Prior experience working in a Level I Trauma center preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work night shifts (7p-7a) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Credentialing process completed within 90 days (expedited options available with leadership approval)
  • Must not hold a DEA license
