The Inpatient Cardiology Locum opportunity in Orange County, CA Details Location: Orange County CaliforniaDuration: March August (with potential to extend)Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM, Pager coverage from Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 8:00 AMCall: Flexible Call coverage every 23 weekendsScope of Practice (Inpatient Cardiology): 3 new consults per day / 5 follow-ups per day, Duties: Routine consults seen within 24 hours, Reporting urgent echocardiograms performed over the weekend, Coordinate transfers for patients needing cath lab or EP lab intervention, Perform emergent pericardiocentesis for unstable tamponade patients unable to transfer.EMR: EPICGroup/support: ICU team, hospitalists, and surgeonsRequirements: Board Certified in Cardiology, Active California license, DEA, Clean NPDB
