Position Highlights:

Annual ED Volume: 21,000 visits

ED Beds: 9 (including trauma & psych)

EMR: Cerner (Ochsner EPIC)

Compensation:$305/hr., paid weekly

Travel & Lodging: All expenses covered (flights, hotel, rental car, or mileage reimbursement)

Malpractice: Fully covered

Schedule:

Start Date: ASAP or by December 1, 2025

24-hour physician coverage

10-hour NP/PA daily coverage

No call, no holidays

Minimum 3 shifts/month

Shift times: 6a 6p & 6p 6a

Responsibilities:

Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients

Collaborate with NP/PAs and specialty consultants

Deliver care in a fast-paced, modern ED

Support continuity with inpatient and ICU teams

Qualifications:

MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in EM

Active Louisiana license or IMLC eligibility

BLS, ACLS, DEA required

Cerner EMR experience preferred

If not EM-trained, must have ACLS, ATLS, PALS and 2 years of ER experience
