Pay Range: $65-$80 per hour
Schedule
- Monday-Friday OR Tuesday-Saturday (rotating every 3 months)
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Caseload: Approximately 14-18 patients per day
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused medical eye exams across all age groups
- Manage ocular conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and dry eye
- Provide care for urgent/walk-in eye-related issues
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Manage referrals to ophthalmology and other subspecialties
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (OCT, visual fields, corneal topography)
- Educate patients on preventive and healthy eye care practices
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active state Optometry License with Glaucoma Certification
- DEA license
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical optometry experience
- Pediatric experience
- Experience in dry eye management
