• Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time

• Service Setting: Outpatient - Clinic Only
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p
• On-Call Expectations: None

PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Average Daily Volume / Census: Typical outpatient caseload focused on chronic endocrine management
• Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes - follow-up visits and ongoing disease management
• Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormonal and metabolic conditions
FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
• EMR System: eClinicalWorks (ECW)
• Specialty Backup: Collaborative access to multidisciplinary specialists and primary care providers
• Support Staff: Dedicated nursing and administrative staff supporting patient flow and coordination
• Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports to Medical Director, West Valley Endocrinology
• Reason for Opening: Practice growth and expanding patient demand
CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
• Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology (certification within 5 years of residency)
• DEA & Certifications: Active DEA, BLS
• Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days
• Visa Sponsorship: Yes - H-1B and J-1 candidates accepted

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Board Status: BC/BE in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
• State License Required: Active Arizona License or IMLC eligibility
• Certifications: DEA, BLS
• Experience: Fellowship-trained; clinical experience preferred but not required
• Additional Requirements: Excellent diagnostic, communication, and team-based collaboration skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate and diagnose endocrine-related conditions through comprehensive patient assessments
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to develop individualized treatment plans
• Manage patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal/metabolic imbalances
• Provide education to patients and families on chronic disease management and preventive health
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain thorough and compliant clinical documentation
• Engage in continuous learning and quality improvement initiatives
