Responsibilities
Responsible ongoing administration of the Jack Henry Silverlake core application and other ancillary Jack Henry applications. Work closely with software vendors to ensure reliability, and integrity of the bank’s core processing environment.

Essential Duties

Monitor the health of the Jack Henry Core application.

Act as the technical liaison with Jack Henry Associates regarding maintenance (including core application purge processing, releases, fixes, monitoring JH updates, and troubleshooting).

Work with vendors to develop and implement effective escalation procedures for resolution of core software issues.

Track outstanding issues with vendors and conduct appropriate follow-up to ensure timely resolution.

Coordinate with vendors, IT System Administration, and application personnel to install and test releases, patches, and upgrades in a timely and accurate manner.

Work with vendor and bank application personnel to implement new product installations and upgrades that interface with the core system.

Collaborate with vendor and department representatives on data mapping or mining of the core application.

Develop and maintain procedures and policies for proper execution of night jobs associated with JHA systems, including monitoring logs and ensuring cross coverage.

Act as the security administrator for the JHA environment, working with the Department Manager, Manager of Tech Support, and Information Security to develop and maintain security policies.

Coordinate bank-wide change‑management testing for releases, maintain documentation, and manage form promotion through turnover.

Perform year‑end processing in test and production environments, including year‑end tax submission.

Report to management on performance, responsiveness, and outstanding issues regarding the core application environment on a regular basis.

Ancillary Duties
Provide assistance as needed to help the Information Technology Department and the bank in achieving their annual goals.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Extensive experience with and training on change‑management processes, installation, and maintenance of vendor‑supplied software.

Proficient reading, writing, mathematics, and analytical skills.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills.

Ability to thoroughly document processes and work performed.

Five years of experience in Information Technology within a banking or financial environment, including application administration duties.

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Compensation
Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase. Salary range: $62,400.00 to $88,000.00 per year.
