Overview
Join our multidisciplinary team in developing next-generation sustainable home and personal care ingredients through synthetic biology approaches. Working directly with scientists onsite, you’ll contribute to analytical chemistry workflows using state-of-the-art techniques. This hands‑on role combines cutting‑edge analytical methods with classical strain development, offering broad exposure to industrial biotechnology applications.

Responsibilities

Perform microbiological/biochemical assays, applying microbiology laboratory practices and sterile techniques as required.

Prepare samples and mobile phase for chromatographic analyses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Operate HPLC and/or LC-MS instruments for routine analytical workflows.

Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory workstation.

Accurately document experimental procedures, observations, and results in laboratory records.

Assist with basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of HPLC and/or LC-MS instruments.

Experience with sample and mobile phase preparation for chromatographic analysis.

Experience with HPLC and/or LC-MS operation for routine analysis.

Demonstrated commitment to laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices.

Strong organization skills and ability to maintain a clean and organized laboratory workstation.

Proven ability to maintain detailed and accurate experimental records.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Foundation in microbiology laboratory practices and sterile technique preferred.

Knowledge of HPLC and/or LC-MS troubleshooting is considered a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in biotechnology degree in progress

Compensation

Competitive internship salary (22.00 - 26.00 per hour depending on education)
