Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist

A growing Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina, is seeking a full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist to join an established and expanding program. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine. New graduates and visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

    • Antenatal diagnosis (10,000+ ultrasound studies annually)

  • Large regional referral base serving a multi-county area
  • Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM schedule
  • Approximately 3,900 annual deliveries
  • 350 maternal transports annually
  • Affiliated children s hospital with:
    • 20 pediatric subspecialties
    • Level IV NICU
Faculty clinical interests and services include:
  • Consultation for regional providers regarding high-risk pregnancies
  • Outpatient management of high-risk pregnancies
    • 9,000+ annual visits (approximately 2,000 patients)
  • Preconception counseling
  • Full range of fetal diagnostic procedures, including:
    • Amniocentesis
    • Percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS)
    • Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
  • Advanced fetal therapy, including:
    • Intrauterine transfusions
    • Amnioinfusion
    • In-utero drug therapy
    • Management of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome
  • Participation in clinical research with opportunities for basic science collaboration
