Gastroenterology Physician

• Start Date: May 4, 2026

• Coverage Duration: 12 months

• Location: Prestonsburg

• Client Preference: One consistent provider preferred (open to two providers alternating weeks)

• Interview Process: Virtual interviews with service line leadership and OR team

• Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Call Structure: Shared with another provider

• Credentialing Timeline: 3 months

  • Includes Medicare & Medicaid enrollment

General GI Procedures:

• Upper Endoscopies (EGD)

• Colonoscopies

Advanced Procedures:

• ERCP - Yes (mid-level / moderate complexity)

• EUS - Not Required

• Support Staff: APP support provided

• EMR: Not required

• Patient Population: Noncompliant, medically complex; often attend visits with family members

• Culture: Pleasant, kind, community-focused environment

  • Providers with strong relationship-building and communication skills are highly preferred
