Job Title: Multi Trade Maintenance 7 Finish Carpenter
Travel Required: Yes
Location: Salem and surrounding area
Wage/Time: $20-30 per hour

Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled, reliable multi-trade craftsman to support our field operations and service work through the Salem metro area. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, works independently, and understands how quality, efficiency and communication drive successful projects.

You will provide a wide variety of repair, maintenance, and remodeling work across residential and commercial projects. You will be trusted to assess issues, execute work to a high standard and represent Skyline Builders. This role requires the ability to work independently across occupied rental units, completed projects and active new construction sites with minimal supervision.

Direct reports include Project Managers, Superintendents, Property Managers, and the Operations Manager.

Trade Skills Required

Carpentry – new installation and renovation

Drywall repair, finishing and painting

Plumbing repairs and fixture installation

Fence repairs

Flooring repairs and installation

Troubleshooting and thoughtful planning

Experience and Technical Duties

Proficient with various mobile phone software platforms to report job updates and schedule updates

Ability to read and follow technical specifications to install new products

Basic understanding of reading project plans and technical drawings

Complete recurring property inspections to identify problems and necessary maintenance

Maintain preventative maintenance programs

Schedule and direct specialty trades to efficiently turnover rental properties for new residents

Proficiency with hand and power tools, ladders and towing trailers

What We’re Looking For

Problem solving: strong troubleshooting skills, able to diagnose issues and implement solutions

Understands what tools are required for specific tasks (not required to own every tool)

Works efficiently

Communication: clear and respectful communication with team and clients; reporting through our company software platforms; daily project updates

Professional presentation: clean professional appearance with uniform, vehicle and tools; organized tools and jobsites

Compensation & Benefits

$20-30 an hour

Company provided vehicle & tool budget

Skyline Builders LLC covers up to 100% of the premium of Company Selected Health Insurance Policy (Health, Vision, Dental). The employee will pay the difference in premium if they select a more expensive plan.

401(k) plan with company contribution: 100% company contribution up to the first 3% of pay and 50% contribution from 3% to 5%
