A hospital-based opportunity is available for an Anesthesiologist to provide coverage in a multi-specialty setting. This role includes a broad range of anesthesia cases and requires flexibility to support evolving departmental needs during a transition period.
Compensation:
Hourly $375/hr.
Nightcall $400, 24-hour call $2,000.
Call back $375 an hour
Assignment Details:
Start: August 2026
Ongoing coverage needed (end date not specified)
Multiple providers needed
Schedule:
Approximately 23 shifts per month
Call required (beeper call)
Practice Details:
Setting: Hospital-based
EMR: Cerner
12 operating rooms
APP support available
Opportunity to work independently
Case Mix:
General anesthesia
Cardiac anesthesia
Pediatrics
Obstetrics
Nerve blocks
Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia care across a variety of surgical specialties
Participate in call rotation (beeper call)
Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Required
Active Pennsylvania License or willingness to obtain (IMLC accepted) Required
DEA Required
Must be comfortable with full scope of anesthesia cases including cardiac, OB, and pediatrics
Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe: 90 days
