Shift details: Full Time, Mid-Shift (1:00PM-11:30PM) Alternating Weekends and holidays
Summary
The Dispatcher will coordinate, control, and dispatch all levels of service and patient transportation for JHS.
Responsibilities
Receives calls from JHS employees for patient transportation related services.
Calls vendors for the proper units for patients discharges.
Ascertains pertinent information from the caller to determine level of service transport for the patient.
Investigates service inquiries, incident reports, and customer service related issues.
Completes daily, weekly, and monthly reports assigned by MTC manager.
Works in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting purposes.
Ensures that all contractual requirements are met successfully.
Works with other departments to identify emerging trends.
Participates in training sessions for Dispatcher Certification.
Assists with development of goals and objectives for the department.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence and CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Expertise).
Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
Experience
Generally requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
Education
High School diploma is required.
Credentials
Non-licensed worker.
